Phoebe and Beco photo credit goes to Paige

Since it was such a nice cool morning (68 at 10:30 a.m.) we headed over to the zoo with all the other bazillion folks. Our main goal was to go check out the new baby Asian Elephant "Beco" pronounced Bee-Co. His name is a combination of his mom's Phoebe and his dad's Coco. He was born on 3-27-09 and weighed in at a little over 300 lbs. He now weighs 537 lbs. baby elephants drink their mother's milk for 3 to 4 years, must be some good stuff she's feeding him!
