My post for Sunday 3-02-08 this is the ceiling above the stage at the Southern Theatre where the girls will do their recital in May.We had a girls night out to see Dance Scope 2008 "Secrets". It is put on by the company dancers at C.D.A. where Paige and Megan take classes. The seniors get to do a senior dance that they choreograph and perform. They also present a short slide show of the seniors, it always makes me tear up.
This year they also did an American Soldier Tribute. It was an incredible piece that lasted about 30 minutes, with 7 songs. They danced hip hop, tap and modern. At the end they played the National Anthem and did a slide show of family and friends of the dancers that have served our country in the military. It was very beautiful and moving.
