After school on Wed. Deb and I took the girls and Rebel to see the BIG BUGS at Inniswood Metro Gardens (one of our Metro Parks). The BIG BUGS were created by artist David Rogers. We felt lucky to see them for free. The park ranger that we spoke with said that this is the first time they have been displayed with out charging a fee. He said they were in Colorado and they charged $16.00 a person to see them so we are lucky that our parks bring us interesting things to enjoy free of charge. There were some other amazing bugs but my batteries for my camera were dead. I will try and get some of Deb's photos. Above Paige, Rebel and Megan are dwarfed by a giant Praying Mantis. Below is a topiary of a bumble bee.
Above is a dusty grasshopper and below a spider and it's web. The web was made of wood also.
Below the ants go marching three by three harah! harah! (Yes there were three big ants) and they were looking for picnics!
