Paige's 4th grade class had 3 long days of testing for the O.A.T. (Ohio achievement test) so today they are having a beach party! Paige packed her tropical fish beach towel, a small beach ball, her sunglasses and her clown fish in her backpack this morning. As you can see she is all decked out for a beach party in her authentic Hawaiian dress that her Mimi got her from Hilo Hatties. Paige got this for her 8th b.day two years ago and except for being a little shorter it still fits fine. She also wore her shell necklace (also from Mimi), her sunglass pen (from Cheeseburger in Paradise), her dolphin bracelet that she made and a flower clip left over from Megan's hula themed 5 th birthday.I even relented and let her wear flip flops to school. That is something I have never allowed. I don't think flip flops are very safe on a blacktop and gravel playground, but today they were pretending to be at the beach and sneakers would have ruined the whole outfit.The kids brought snacks to share too. Paige brought donut holes and salt water taffy from Anderson's.
