Silver and gold, silver and gold we will make new friends and cheriish the old.Mrs. Ross has been the principal at the kids school since it opened the year Paige started kindergarten. The school district is growing and with the growth they are switching principals, and vice principals around. So they will have a new principal next year and we have already heard that he is a great guy.
Mrs. Ross stopped by each class yesterday to give hugs and sign autograph books. As she signed her name she would say "this means I will miss you and this means I love you". It has been so nice to have a principal that knows each child's name, not because they have been to her office but because she stands in front of the school and welcomes them in each day.
Paige had to say good bye to her friend Alexis too. She has known Alexis since they were in kindergarten together. Alexis and her family are going to be traveling around the country in a motor home this summer before moving down to Florida in the fall. We wished her a fun and exciting summer. She is going to e-mail Mrs. Schmitt who will keep us all posted of their travels.
