We had a nice visit with Aunt Marilyn today. The girls made her cards with pictures in them and they picked out some bright flowers at Trader Joes. I made some banana bread today so we packed some of that too. Her place is very nice, it has large windows and is in a lovely building. I like that it is not on a busy street and it is in a natural wooded setting. It's a really clean place, and it doesn't have that "old folks home smell". It kind of reminded me of a nice hotel. There is a beautiful fireplace in the lobby and the covered porch looks so inviting with all those chairs and rockers. I think once Aunt Marilyn gets used to the place she will be happy and it will be a comfort to Ann and Jess to know she is safe.

After our visit with Marilyn we took the girls out to Red Robin for dinner to celebrate their great report cards. This is the first year that Paige has gotten "letter" grades and they were all "A's". Megan is still getting "M's" and "P's" for meets and progressing. They are both doing an outstanding job. We are so proud of their hard work, they really enjoy school.
