Today was my first day of watching Jake and Evan without the help of Paige and Megan. The first thing Jake (age 2 3/4) said to me when I walked in the door at 9 a.m. was "where are the girls?". I told him "they had to go to school". Then he asked if they would come over after school. I promised him they would, and when Paige and Megan were running over to Jake's yard to play on the swings he was yelling "Paige, Megan you are home from school, I MISSED YOU!". They must have missed him too because they stayed out playing with him until dinner was ready.
Evan is teething...thank goodness for those liquid filled teethers that you cool in the fridge!
