Since we returned home from vacation I have noticed a male cardinal flying around, sitting on the wall of our patio, and sitting in the Bay Leaf Magnolia at the corner of the house. I didn't think much of it until Mike was out trimming the shrubs by the dining room window. He called Paige to bring the camera and they got this shot of the baby as the momma sat in a nearby bush scolding him (Mike). Now that I know we have a little family in the bushes I will be more careful when turning on the sprinklers.
Hard to believe that little thing could grow up to look like this...
